PROGRAMME COORDINATOR
CRC ADULT SERVICES ? LIFE SKILLS & RT ONGAR

essential as service will be delivered in line with the needs of the
individuals attending the programmes. Based in Ongar, Dublin **Apply

CRC operates seven training programmes, catering for a wide catering
for a wide variety of adults with physical, intellectual, and sensory
disabilities. These programmes are tailored to meet individual needs,
goals, and aspirations. This is in line with best practice using a
person centred approach in accordance with the New Directions policy.
The successful applicant will work with adults to conduct profile
needs analysis, progression pathways and action plans for individuals
while supervising and coordinating the day to day running of the
service. This is an excellent opportunity to progression for an
individual experienced in the education of people with disabilities.
The coordinator will also deliver QQI accredited modules as an
integral part of their role and will be responsible for supporting a
team of Community Support Workers and Trainers, working with them on a
one-to-one capacity, ensuring compliance with QQI standards, preparing
all documentation required for QQI accreditation, liaising with the
HSE and HSE Disability Managers.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE AT A MINIMUM:
* Substantial working knowledge of the New Directions policy, person
centred planning, self-advocacy, and personal development.
* Significant relevant experience in managing and /or delivering QQI
Training to people with varying needs and abilities
* A working knowledge of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults.
* Two years? experience working with adults with disabilities in
an environment promoting community and social inclusion
* A relevant qualification: i.e. QQI Level 7/8 or above in in
Teaching/Training/ Health/Intellectual Disability or similar
* Relevant experience in personal care and care plan development
* A Management Qualification Level 6 or above is desirable
* Supporting adults with significant feeding and swallowing
difficulties, including specific supports such as suctioning
